Shell VITREA Oils are highly refined straight mineral oils that give excellent lubricating performance where rust, oxidation, or high bearing and gear loading are not problems. They have high viscosity indices, typically 90 to 100. These oils are recommended for lubricating plain and antifriction bearings and spur, helical and bevel gears operating under moderate loads and temperatures. They are excellent non-additive machine and bearing oils.

    Shell VSI® Circulating Oil

    ISO Grade 32

Shell VSI Circulating Oil is a lubricating and hydraulic oil that provides rust protection for parts coated by the oil -- and for parts above the level of the oil in an enclosed space. This oil is recommended for enclosed oil lubrication systems that are rust prone.

    Shell VSI Circulating Oil:

  • Resists oxidation
  • Can be used for hydraulic and circulating systems, pumps, steam and gas turbines, and almost any other enclosed gear system not requiring an EP or antiwear oil.
  • Protects ferrous metals against rust
  • Is non-corrosive to nonferrous metals, including brass, copper and bronze.
