Shell DONAX TA is an SAE 10W-20 multipurpose torque converter and hydraulic fluid for use in a wide variety of heavy duty, industrial and off-highway equipment. It meets the now obsolete Allison C-3 Hydraulic Transmission Fluid performance requirements. DONAX TA is recommended for off-highway Allison and Funk power-shift transmissions and for most hydraulic pumps. It is also suitable for many hydrostatic transmissions.

Shell DONAX TD is an SAE 15W-30 transmission, gear and hydraulic fluid recommended for most makes of farm tractors and implements, including models that use hydraulically actuated wet brakes. It is a universal tractor hydraulic fluid that meets service fill performance requirements of John Deere, Ford, International Harvester (IHC)*, Allis-Chalmers, J. I. Case and Massey Ferguson. It is also an approved Allison Type C-4 and Caterpillar TO-2 fluid. DONAX TD has application in virtually all makes of farm tractor and implement transmissions, differentials, wet brakes, power take-offs, hydraulic systems, etc.

NOTE: Shell DONAX TD has performed satisfactorily in applications where Hy-Tran Fluid is recommended but is not officially approved by IHC. On the basis of its proven field performance, Shell recommends DONAX TD in IHC equipment where Hy-Tran Fluid is specified.

Shell DONAX TF is Shell's recommendation for service fill in most Ford Motor Company passenger car and truck automatic transmissions manufactured prior to 1981. It is approved against Ford's M2C33F specification. DONAX TF is also satisfactory for use in hydrostatic transmissions, including models manufactured by Eaton and Sundstrand. It is the preferred recommendation for Sundstrand models.

Shell DONAX TG is approved by General Motors as meeting its DEXRON III specification, and by Ford as meeting its MERCON specification. It has the widest range of application for an automatic transmission fluid. DONAX TG is recommended for service fill in General Motors and many import cars and trucks. Some Ford automatic transmissions manufactured after 1980 require the use of DEXRON III (DONAX TG) or Ford Type H Fluids (Ford specification M2C166-H). (DEXRON is a registered trademark of General Motors. MERCON is a registered trademark applied by Ford to fluids meeting the Ford WST-M2C-185-A specification.) This became the recommended fluid for all Ford automatic transmissions sold in North America beginning with the 1988 model year. It is also recommended, retroactively, for earlier models requiring either DEXRON II or Ford Type H Fluid.

DONAX TG is suitable for use where DEXRON III, Ford MERCON, M2C138-CJ or M2C166H (Type H) Fluids are specified. Additionally, Donax TG is Shell's primary recommendation for Daimler-Benz 236.6 and Allison C-4 applications.

Shell DONAX TC Oils are formulated to meet Caterpillar's latest TO 4 specification. They are available in three SAE viscosity grades: 10W, 30 and 50. DONAX TC, in the specified grade, meets the needs of powershift transmission, clutches, brakes, final drives and hydraulic systems. The 10W and 30 grades are also approved against the Allison C-4 specification.

Shell DONAX TC Oils provide proper frictional requirements, low temperature performance, high thermal and oxidation stability, dispersancy, protection from wear and rust and antifoaming properties.
